Old Town and Worsham

Old Town & Worsham

Stuart Wray – 07811 520631

Born in Hastings, I moved to Bexhill in 1992 and have been here since bringing up my family, some of whom have now settled in Bexhill too.

We currently have four generations in this lovely town. I have worked in Bexhill Old Town for the last 6 years as General Manager of Manor

Barn and work closely with many local suppliers and entertainers to showcase what is available on our doorstep. It gives me great pleasure to coordinate events at the Barn and support various events including May Day and The Christmas Event. I feel privileged to work at one of the most historical sites in Bexhill.

This is a passion borne out of a history in local events including The Bexhill Festival on the Streets. This was to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and was spread across 16 street parties and included 64 performances from local performers. I also curated the live music stage at the Anglo/French Market for a few years again showcasing local talent before getting involved with Bexhill Festival of the Sea.

Bexhill Roundtable, for which I was chairman for 3 years also supported many local projects and good causes and during my tenure money was raised for St Michael’s Hospice, Bexhill Street Pastors and Bexhill Football youth kits.

I would be proud to be elected for the parish/Town Council and I would look forward to

working with other councillors for the good of the town.

Please consider giving me your vote, thank you.
